What should my child wear?

Anything loose fitting - t-shirts, shorts, leggings and trainers. Please make sure hair is tied up, especially for Acro.

How do I pay for classes?

Dance classes are pay as you go and Acro is termly. You have to pay and book in each week for dance online using the link on the 'About Us' page. The Acro classes should also be booked in using the same link.

 

Do I need to bring anything to class?

Please bring a drink - no fizzy please!

Can parents watch the class?

We prefer that parents do not watch the classes as we find that the children work better without their parents watching however, there are some circumstances where we do let parents watch for the first few sessions.

Do you do exams?

Yes, we are ISTD qualified and participate in ISTD exams.

​

Do you take part in competitions?

Yes, we take part in around 5-6 open freestyle dance competitions a year.

​

Do you take part in shows?

Yes, we get involved in as many shows as we can and we have at least 1 in-house show a year!

Can my child come to class just for fun?

Yes! We are a recreational dance school first and foremost - everything else we take part in is extra and it is only if you want to take part.

Your child can come along just for fun of it!​

Do I need to buy uniform?

No, uniform is optional - in order to buy an Ignite t-shirt or hoody, please ask Sam.
